The Bell Inn on Romney Marsh

The Bell Inn was built over 450 years ago during the reign of King Henry VIII in 1545, and has “administered ale & bread to the people of the parish” ever since. Over the centuries, extensions have been added to the original thatched, wood-framed building, and now there is a lounge, saloon and snug. The spacious, sheltered and sunny BEER GARDEN backs onto ST. GEORGE’S CHURCHYARD and is a delightful place to have your drinks in warmer months. We have ample parking at the front, with extra parking by the childrens’ playground opposite.
